Problem
LibreChat lacked a structured contact workspace, making it impossible for users to manage contacts or query their professional network through natural language.
Architecture
Implemented within LibreChat's monorepo architecture. Built a React-based contact management interface, Express/Node backend APIs, MongoDB data layer with dynamic schemas, and a LangChain Structured Tool that enables the LLM to retrieve contacts using natural language queries.

My role
Designed and implemented the complete Contact Workspace feature, including frontend UI, backend APIs, MongoDB data models, AI tool integration, and CSV ingestion pipeline as an open-source contribution.
Impact
Introduces a scalable contact management system capable of handling large CSV datasets while extending LibreChat's AI capabilities with structured contact retrieval. Pull Request currently under review by the LibreChat maintainers.
